किष्किन्धाकाण्ड 4.19

यहाँ पवनपुत्र हनुमान ने मन में विचार किया कि सुग्रीव ने राम का काम भुला दिया है।

Meanwhile, Hanuman, the wind god’s son, thought to himself that Sugriva had forgotten Rama’s task.

हनुमान ने सुग्रीव के पास जाकर उनके चरणों में सिर झुकाया और चारों उपाय बताकर उन्हें समझाया।

Hanuman approached Sugriva, bowed his head at his feet, and counseled him using all four methods.

सुनकर सुग्रीव बहुत भयभीत हुए और बोले, ‘विषय-भोगों ने मेरा विवेक हर लिया।’

Hearing this, Sugriva became deeply afraid and said, ‘Sensual pleasures have robbed me of my discernment.’

‘अब, हे पवनपुत्र, जहाँ-जहाँ वानरों के दल हैं, वहाँ दूतों के समूह भेजो।’

‘Now, son of the wind god, send groups of messengers wherever there are bands of monkeys.’

‘कह दो कि जो एक पखवाड़े के भीतर नहीं आएगा, उसका वध मेरे हाथों होगा।’

‘Tell them that whoever does not come within a fortnight will be killed by my own hand.’

तब हनुमान ने दूतों को बुलाया और सबका बहुत सम्मान किया।

Then Hanuman summoned the messengers and showed them all great respect.
