मैं गुरु के कमलरूपी चरणों की धूल को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो सुंदर रुचि, सुगंध, रस और प्रेम से युक्त है।

I bow to the dust of my teacher’s lotus feet, filled with delight, sweet fragrance, sweetness, and love.

यह चरण-धूल अमृतमयी जड़ी का सुंदर चूर्ण है, जो संसाररूपी रोगों के पूरे समूह को दूर करता है।

This dust is like a beautiful powder made from a nectar-like healing root, removing the entire family of afflictions of worldly existence.

यह पुण्यरूपी शिव के शरीर की निर्मल भस्म के समान है और सुंदर कल्याण तथा आनंद उत्पन्न करती है।

It is like the pure sacred ash on the body of Shiva personified as merit, producing beautiful auspiciousness and joy.

यह भक्तों के मनरूपी सुंदर दर्पण की मैल दूर करती है; इसका तिलक लगाने पर गुणों का समूह वश में हो जाता है।

It cleanses the beautiful mirror of devotees’ minds; applying it as a forehead mark brings the multitude of virtues within one’s grasp.

पूज्य गुरु के चरणों के नाखून रत्नों के समूह जैसी ज्योति हैं; उनका स्मरण करने से हृदय में दिव्य दृष्टि उत्पन्न होती है।

The nails of the revered teacher’s feet shine like a cluster of jewels; remembering them awakens divine vision in the heart.

वह तेजस्वी ज्योति मोह के अंधकार को नष्ट करती है और महान सौभाग्य से किसी के हृदय में आती है।

That bright radiance destroys the darkness of delusion and enters one’s heart through great good fortune.
