हे अनुपम रूप वाले राम, आपकी जय हो! आप निर्गुण भी हैं, सगुण भी और गुणों के सच्चे प्रेरक हैं।

Glory to Rama of incomparable form! You are beyond qualities, possess qualities, and are truly their impeller.

आप दस सिर वाले रावण की प्रचंड भुजाओं का खंडन करने वाले, प्रचंड बाणों वाले और पृथ्वी के भूषण हैं।

You sever the mighty arms of ten-headed Ravana, wield fierce arrows, and adorn the earth.

आपका शरीर मेघ के समान, मुख कमल के समान और लंबे नेत्र कमल के समान हैं।

Your body resembles a rain cloud, your face a lotus, and your elongated eyes lotuses.

मैं विशाल भुजाओं वाले कृपालु राम को नित्य प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो संसार के भय से मुक्त करते हैं।

I daily bow to compassionate Rama, whose arms are mighty and who releases one from the fear of worldly existence.

उनका बल अपरिमेय है; वे अनादि, अजन्मा, अव्यक्त, एक और इंद्रियों की पहुँच से परे हैं।

His strength is immeasurable; he is beginningless, unborn, unmanifest, one, and beyond sensory perception.

वे गोविंद, इंद्रियों से परे, द्वंद्वों को हरने वाले, विशुद्ध ज्ञान के घनस्वरूप और पृथ्वी को धारण करने वाले हैं।

He is Govinda, beyond the senses, remover of dualities, the embodiment of pure knowledge, and sustainer of the earth.

संत जिनके राम-मंत्र का जप करते हैं, वे अनंत हैं और जनों के मन को आनंद देते हैं।

Saints chant his Rama-mantra; he is infinite and delights people’s hearts.

मैं उन राम को नित्य प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो निष्काम जनों को प्रिय हैं और काम आदि दुष्ट विकारों के समूह का नाश करते हैं।

I daily bow to Rama, dear to those free of desire, who destroys the wicked host of desire and other vices.

वेद जिन्हें निरंजन, ब्रह्म, सर्वव्यापक, निर्मल और अजन्मा कहकर गाते हैं—

The Vedas sing of him as stainless Brahman, all-pervading, pure, and unborn—

अनेक मुनि ध्यान, ज्ञान, वैराग्य और योग का अभ्यास करके जिन्हें प्राप्त करते हैं—

Whom many sages attain through meditation, knowledge, detachment, and yoga—

वही प्रकट हुए हैं; करुणा के मूल और शोभा के पुंज होकर वे जड़ और चेतन सबको मोहित करते हैं।

That same one has manifested; the source of compassion and a treasury of beauty, he enchants all that is stationary and moving.

वे मेरे हृदय-कमल के भ्रमर हैं; उनके अंग अनेक कामदेवों की सुंदरता से सुशोभित हैं।

He is the bee of my heart’s lotus; his limbs shine with the beauty of many gods of love.

जो पहुँच से परे होकर भी सहज सुलभ हैं, जिनका स्वभाव निर्मल है, जो अतुलनीय, समभाव वाले और सदा शीतल हैं—

Who is beyond reach yet readily accessible, pure in nature, unequalled, impartial, and always serene—

योगी यत्न करके और मन तथा इंद्रियों को सदा वश में रखते हुए जिनका दर्शन करते हैं—

Whom yogis behold through effort, continually keeping the mind and senses under control—

वही राम, लक्ष्मी के निवास और तीनों लोकों के स्वामी, सदा अपने भक्तों के वश में रहते हैं।

That same Rama, the abode of Lakshmi and lord of the three worlds, is always subject to his devotees.

संसार-चक्र को शांत करने वाले वे राम मेरे हृदय में बसें, जिनकी कीर्ति पवित्र करने वाली है।

May that Rama dwell in my heart—he who brings worldly existence to an end and whose glory purifies.

अविच्छिन्न भक्ति का वर माँगकर गृध्रराज जटायु भगवान के धाम को गए।
